The First Love Marriage In The World
Shiva marriage was not an ordinary marriage. Shiva marriage was the culmination of love, dedication and tenacity. The world’s biggest love story fails in front of this story.

But this story is not of one birth. Even in her previous birth, Parvati was Shiva’s wife and was the daughter of Prajapati Daksha. Her name was Sati.
As per Puranas, Sati was the favourite child of Daksha and was married Shiva against her father’s wishes.

The conflict between Daksha and Shiva gets to a point where Daksha does not invite Shiva to his yagna (fire sacrifice).
When Sati comes on her own Daksha insults Shiva. Then Sati immolates herself at the ceremony.
This incident shocks Shiva, who is so grief-stricken and he loses his interest in worldly affairs and retires. And then he isolates himself in the mountains, in meditation and austerity.

After Sati’s death, she was reincarnated as Parvati. She was a beautiful daughter of Himavat (the god and king of the Himalaya mountains) and Mainavati. Whenever Sati sported in the mountains, Mena and Himavat used to take care of her.
Parvati was very well educated and beautiful. Since her childhood, she was passionately devoted to Lord Shiva.
Even she preferred praying to Lord Shiva, instead of playing with her friends.

Admirer came from different parts of the country to marry her. But Parvati rejected all of them.
She only wanted to marry Lord Shiva and no one else.
Hope now you got the answer to your question, who is the first love of Shiva? Its Sati.
